5 Best Exercises For Health This Winter

Aren’t winters called the ‘Naturally Abandon Exercising’ month! And yes, I cannot agree anymore. I mean, let us face it, getting up at 5 or 6 in the morning when the temperature falls to nearby 15°C, even less in certain places and there is this warm blanket that refuses to leave you like a dear old friend and also is this feeling – It’s Winter! The daily routine begins and then we see no sign of exercise whatsoever. Worry not! Here are a few exercises that aren’t required to be done in the early mornings but can be done anytime throughout the day.

1. Walking

Walking is the most beneficial, most loved and most followed exercise anyone can do. There aren’t any side effects (Well if using legs has any!), no heavy machinery involved, no specific time period (This!), it helps with the mental health too(Tada). There are so many more benefits of Walking that I’d need a whole new article for it. So, coming to my point, all I find perfect about Walking is its ease as an exercise and also how flexible it is with time. It doesn’t go with the clock-and-health type of rule but simply asks you to do it. And I seriously would recommend – Doing it!

2. Yoga

As simple as that. A carpet, bottle of water and… Oh wait! The list there ends there. Isn’t it just great. But there’s one thing you need to be good at for this completely marvelous exercise, is the art of concentration. And believe me, it is an art and it pulls you towards itself like an ant to sugar. It involves the entire body motion, increasing its flexibility and fluidity and also promotes mental stability to bounds that even you can’t believe. This is a anytime exercise too and is beneficial even if done for 20 or 30 minutes a day.

3. Tai Chi

Well probably this brilliant exercise is not so famous or well known in India, but the health perks it provides is just so unavoidable for the health freaks. Tai chi, also called tai chi chuan, combines deep breathing and relaxation with flowing movements, in simple if I describe this exercise on the whole. It is immensely helpful for those who are looking for improving posture, balance and mobility and leg muscle strength. There’s no age limit for this and no health condition that prevents you from doing it.

4. Swimming

Okay. Please don’t leave and yes, I am not stupid. No no, I am not retarded too. But swimming is actually an extraordinary all year, every season wholesome and yielding exercise. It helps you shape up your body perfectly, increases heart functioning, reduces stress levels, improves lung capacity, boosts energy, keeps mood in control, helps keep you refreshed, builds muscles, increases flexibility and burns calories to great extent. And once you try it in winters, you are never going to stop doing it.

5. Stair Stepping

There’s one thing that I want to make clear right away, by stair stepping I do not mean just waking on stairs as high as one can think of. No, this is not it. And please do not try this anywhere because the health effects can be adverse. By stair stepping I simply mean stepping up and down on two continuous steps. It can be as simple as keeping the fattest book you have on the floor and doing it back and forth for as long as you wish. You can even do it in front of the TV.

So, aren’t they all simple and beneficial. Try them and believe me, they will help you have a great mental and physical health this winter season. Also, try out the amazing AmazonOffersand AmazonDeals at SavemonkCashback. The offers are genuine and jaw dropping. Go on and try your best.
