Maharaja Express start a service since 2010, the train Maharajas Express has received the title of “first luxury train of the world” to the World Travel Awards for five consecutive years in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. The luxury train Maharajas Express includes a total of 23 cars composed of rooms, dining rooms, lounge, bar, restaurant, souvenir shop, cars dedicated specially to the staff and to the directors… 14 cars are dedicated to the rooms for a total capacity of 88 passengers. The train offers the choice between several categories of cabins ranging from car presidential suite to Cars Deluxe cabins in passing by the CARS suites and the CARS junior suites.

The train Maharajas Express is equipped with many amenities to offer passengers the greater comfort on board. During the trip, the travelers have their disposal a wi-fi access, a TV, a DVD player of the cars dining room, a lounge bar and a souvenir shop. A doctor is available on board, and each car has a butler service 24h/24.

Two restaurants are available on board, the Rang Mahal and the Mayur Mahal, offering refined kitchens very varied. With the traditional kitchen Indian, Continental cuisine, Chinese cuisine and international cuisine at choice, all taste buds will be delighted.

Rovos Rail across Africa
