Hair loss aka alopecia is a condition when someone notice hair falls from the scalp or any other part of the body. Getting rid of hair from other parts of the body is ok, but it’s not good when your scalp is missing the hair thickness.   • Anagen Effluvium

A person suffering from cancer goes through several stages of treatments such as radiation and chemotherapy. The chemotherapy promotes rapid healing in cancer cells from the body, but it also has some adverse effects. Expecting hair fall during cancer treatment is very common. The drugs that are injected, given orally or applied directly on skin cause issues like killing hair follicles, blood-forming cells and the cells of the digestive system. However, it is a temporary hair loss and hair follicles regrow once the treatment sessions end.

  • Alopecia Areata

Sometimes, the immune system of the body also become the reason of problems like hair loss. It attacks healthy tissues of skin including hair follicles too that are known as roots of the hair. The patients suffering from this condition lose hair from all parts of the body including eyebrows and eyelashes too. As treatment measures, doctors assert medication such as steroids, vasodilators & immunosuppressive drugs.

  • Tinea Capitis

Fungal infection is also a major reason why people lost their hair. It is a common problem among children because of the low immunity against fungal infections. One can easily notice its symptoms with circular patches over the scalp that results in bald spots. A person suffering from this disease experience dryness and itching that increases over time.
